Steven Mnuchin, Secretary of the Treasury, and his new wife are simply Trumpians through and through. These two are playing a particularly visible role as champions of the rich and their way of life and giving a middle finger to all others. Not only is he leading the charge for a tax “reduction” bill that would totally screw the common man in favor of the very rich, but he is actually rubbing the noses of the rest of us in his tasteless and over the top behavior.
It’s hard to forget the photo of his newly married wife stepping off a military jet carrying and showing off some of the most expensive designer brands of women’s attire on the face of the earth. Good for her; she’s landed a really rich guy and aren’t we all impressed!
Her bad taste seemed, at the time, to have trumped (pun intended) anything else tasteless that she and her husband could do. But, a new photo has appeared of the two of them at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in D.C., holding up a sheet of freshly printed $1 bills as if to say aren’t we wonderful and shouldn’t we consider using these for wallpaper in our guest bathroom or for placemats on our kitchen table.
Hard to believe we are stuck with this couple for as long as Trump is in the White House. Get ready for the next over-the-top reveal!
