Customer Reviews for Belco Community Credit Union

  • July 16, 2020

Save your time and go to a credit union that isn't out to rip you off. Borrowed money for an RV/trailer 2/2020. Covid came about in 3/2020, trailer stalled in manufacturing in another state, Indiana. BBCU started charging interest and deduction payment 4/2020, despite the trailer wasn't even manufactured till 5/14/2020. Imagine borrowing money, holding the check, (dealer didn't get funds, I didn't have trailer... but greedy Belco charged interest. At this point I have had the RV 8 weeks, paid 4 payments, interest rate around 11% and only 300$ has gone toward principle, yep that's right 1700$ intertest to the greedy BBCU for funds that were not dispersed. Giving someone a check is not dispersing funds, when the funds are given to the dealer and product is picked up, funds are dispersed. Save yourself grief, go to a real bank. Clearly BBCU doesn't give a shit about its customers just money. All an their insurance service is a joke too, sent the info 3 or 4 times. Office is closed r/t Covid, so nobody can confirm if the receive it or not. Amazing that they take advantage of the Covid disaster to stay at home and shut down branches and services, but can still overcharge you and take advantage of you!!!!!! Didn't used to be this way.... unethical, illegal and not good customer service.
