NEGATIVE STARS! Totally absurd application process ... put in all the information and infoless rejection. Like others, almost perfect credit score, lots of cash to move in, etc. denied without any explanation. Asking them what could go wrong with an application is met with I won't talk to you, unlike every other bank that will go through a KYC process to verify you. Oh, you can try applying again ... what good is that if you can't even specify what went wrong or possible hints to resolve it, or prove who you are. Feels like a total scam and I'm sure as hell going to report them to the regulators for their games denying credit checking which obligates them to explain a denial.

I tried to open a savings account today with Vio bank. The first problem was that they wanted a "cell phone" number. I only use my cell phone for emergencies so I called them and asked why a cell phone instead of my landline. I was told by their customer care representative to put my landline phone as my cell phone. After filling in the information for the joint account, my application was rejected. When I call customer service, I was told they could NOT tell me why the application was rejected. I asked if there was someone to call to see what was wrong and was told to reapply. I have 3 other online high yield accounts and have never been treated so shably. They advertise a very high interest rate, and I guess they can offer it by not accepting application. I will keep my 3 other money market accounts that do not offer 2.52% interest like Vio bank advertises, but at least they offer good customer care. I would not recommend anyone to try to use this 'supposed' bank.

tried to deposit $5000 on my savings account. Didn't work. Called customer Service who told me that the account was in-active/???? The balance was more th $ 8,000. Emailed customer service asking to close the account. They dint reply??? Strange bank. The sooner I can get my money out of there the better.

Great rates for online savings. Calling on the phone got through to someone quick that was nice and helpful. The web site seems a bit immature and not intuitive. Tried to transfer money in, went through several hoops including phone text msg code only to be then told the amount of transfer was too high. It didn't even tell me what the limit was! The really sad part is the limited online transfer to $2000/day and only a total of $6000/mo. (ACH) That's in both directions! I need a real bank and not a toy one. Plan on closing the account soon as my 90 day penalty period is past.
