This is the worst credit union I have ever worked with. I have been a member of several other credit unions over the years and loved them. I moved to Abilene and opened an account with First Abilene FCU and it was terrible from that point on. Instead being welcoming and helpful to new members they treat you like a criminal. They robotically follow every little rule, limit your deposits, hold your deposits and generally make your life miserable. Example: When making remote deposits, the back of checks now have a box to check that says "This is a remote Deposit To" and fill in the name. It is even on FBFCU's own checks. But, they would not accept my deposit because their rules say it has to be written on the check. When it was pointed out that even their checks use this, they said it did not matter because it is their requirement. Just one of many examples of their LACK OF PUTTING THE CUSTOMER FIRST POLICIES!
