Cardano - Background Information

Cardano was created by one of the five original founders of ethereum with the intention of providing greater stability through more rigorous experimentation. Today, it aims to be the financial operating system of the world by establishing decentralized financial products similarly to Ethereum as well as providing solutions for chain interoperability, voter fraud, and legal contract tracing, among other things.
