Here are some reasons why this may be happening:
1) CNBC is trying to improve its ratings in the wake of coming competition from Fox.
2) Michelle is trying to improve her ratings and get a full time gig being on TV after 6 AM in the morning (she is usually on much earlier).
3) This dramatic run up in the stock market is really that exciting.
4) GE's stock is at a 7 year high.
5) Sitting next to Mark Haines is really exciting.
Any other explanations?

Hmmm.........Naviscan....not listed as a publicly traded company on my screen. Perhaps it should gain a listing. The interview conducted by Sue H. with the Naviscan fellow gets the grand prize today for the Power Lunch show. Sue, you will do!
Dennis mentioned something about virtual stuff. I couldn't follow him. He sounds intelligent though, so, he gets a thumbs up too!
Michelle asked Mr. Grasso about the dollar, and he effectively gave a non-answer. His cavalier attitude towards the strength of the dollar certainly causes me concern. If he represents the majority of Wall Street
thinkers on the dollar issue, then, we need to strap ourselves in for an inflationary period. I am an advocate of a strong American dollar, and will never concede to those who say a weak dollar is good for the US, and the world.
Mr. Griffeth as always kept the show interesting, and on task.
Overall, as a viewer of CNBC, I am thankful for all of the hard work, and dedication all of you do to create such splendid shows. This applies to everyone, the writers, the producers, the camera folks, the on screen types, the gophers, the coffee makers, the unsung heroes who make it all possible. You all matter! And, I do indeed thank you over this medium.
Me Buttons!

I see after review in the past year I posted approximately 11 times. Even after swearing of posting here no longer, I am somehow again finding myself doing this once more. In the year past, I witnessed MMCC on screen less, yet thought none the lesser of her in my mind. How did this happen?
My wines this year at first racking seem wonderful, and in my heart want to send everyone a glass. What would you do if one day a case of MMCC INSPIRED wound up on your set? My hope is that you would share.
I could boast of making lots of money this year. But that would not be true. I could also boast of making lots of love in 2009, and that would equally be untrue. However, I can boast of making lots of quality wine 2009, and this statement would be true.
I wish every frequenter of this board a splendid toast for the NEW YEAR OF 2010! And I wish the nipples of MMCC to always be hard.

Two Strangers in Vancouver Alone
As I went out walking
One morning near Spring;
To hear the birds whistle,
Pretty nightingales sing:
I espied a fair damsel
A-making her moan,
Saying: "I am a stranger
And far from my home."
I stepped up beside her
And made a longee,
I asked her forgiveness
For being so free;
"I had to take pity
On hearing you moan,
For I, too, am a stranger,
And far from my home."
"One question I ask you,
Young man," she did say;
What is the cause of
Your coming this way?
Where is your country?
And why do you roam?
What makes you a stranger,
And far from your home?"
"To you, my pretty fair maid,
The truth I will tell;
When I am at home
In New Jersey I dwell;
It was my misfortune
In love to be borne;
Which causes many younger men
To wander from home."
"THE BOYS OF NEW JERSEY
ARE ROVING YOUNG BLADES,
They take great delight
In deceiving young maids;
They hug them and kiss them
And call them their own,
When perhaps they have a sweetheart
A-moaning at home."
"As for to delude you,
That I never will;
As for to protect you,
My blood I would spill:
I'd guide and protect you,
While here alone
While we are two strangers
In Vancouver alone."
"I'll build my love a castle
In some lonely town,
Where lord, dukes and nobles
Can ne'er pull them down;
Contented and happy
We'll live in Tyrone.'
Two strangers got acquainted
In Vancouver alone.
wink

She used to be so good, insightful interviews, good questions. When did she start shoving her chest forward, hands on hips and flirting with the camera? Why can't she be good, solid and bright? The boobs add that much?

The vivacious lady in pink raised the bar on this day in Vegas. Her enthusiasm level remains extraordinary given the amount of travel associated with assignments. Changes in scenery in conjunction with stimulating topics to cover make her an "ACE REPORTER". MCC, as a fan of your work I've not seen this energy level before. CNBC, MCC on assignment, brings out some of her best efforts.
What a thoroughbred television journalist! Excellent work; informative and fun to watch!
